Import Countdown from @prepared911/ui/countdown.
- Timer. The visible readout uses
role="timer" and localized text around the number.
- Announcements. A separate atomic, polite status announces only 30, 10, and 5 seconds. It does not announce every
tick.
- Control. The native Button remains visible with a label that says what is preserved when the automatic action
stops.
- Terminal states. Localized cancellation or completion copy replaces the timer; the keep control remains visible
and disabled. Terminal copy is not sent through the checkpoint live region.
- Motion. The sentence uses body typography. Only its number composes
Text value mode, so the digit transition
follows the system reduced-motion preference.
- Localization. Consumers provide one whole-phrase localized message with the formatted seconds interpolated
exactly once, terminal-state lines, checkpoint announcements, and the control label. Pass
locale when server and
client locale inference could differ.
